NEW Construction - NOTES

A great deal of change is happening at West Memphis School District.  Six of the twelve student campuses are under construction for renovation or new builds.  A new Bragg Elementary campus is being built behind the current facility (opens August 2017).   Electrical upgrades will be complete by 8/15/2016 at Faulk, Maddux, Richland, and Weaver elementary campuses, as well as, the Academies of West Memphis High School.  Maddux Elementary and the Academies of West Memphis have had additional interior renovations that will also be complete before students return August 15, 2016.

Improving learning environments is great news for our students, staff, and community  With change, we must adapt.  Therefore, WMSD would like you to be on the lookout for upcoming posts about vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow for certain campuses.  For 2016-2017 school year, changes in dropoff/pickup and entry/exit routes should only affect Bragg, Faulk, Richland, and Weaver elementary.

No Cost Health Services Clinic @ Lehr Arena of West Memphis High School

The Delta Regional Authority is hosting a NO COST Health Services clinic from June 6th to June 25th, 2016.
The free health services will be provided at the Academies of West Memphis High School Basketball Arena every Monday-Saturday from 8am to 5pm.

• No Insurance Required
• First come; first served
• All welcome ages 2 and older

Health Services are being rendered by U.S. Military Service Members.
Services include:

• Medical Health Screenings
• Eye Exams and Single pane Eyeglasses; (*does not include BiFocals).
• Dental cleanings and extractions
• Behavioral health services consisting of Counseling, as well as, referrals to other local providers
